The Science

We’ve combined the best parts of all the leading programs and formed the most effective and holistic recovery program available.

Neuroplasticity: The brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life.

Everything we believe, everything we think, every action we take, and all of our habits are the result of connections in our brain that form our reality.

Evidence-based techniques:

  • Cognitive Priming

  • Success Meditation

  • Visualization

  • Guided Hypnotherapy

  • Subliminal Programming

  • Behavioral Modification

“Addiction is a treatable, chronic medical disease involving complex interactions among brain circuits, genetics, the environment, and an individual’s life experiences.

Prevention efforts and treatment approaches for addiction are generally as successful as those for other chronic diseases.”

American Society of Addiction Medicine

Our brains have the ability to reorganize, which means we have the ability to change our addictive cravings and responses.

The human brain contains over 85 billion specialized cells called neurons, which pass information to one another in a highly organized and efficient manner.

Chains of neurons act as transportation superhighways called neural pathways. These pathways form our thought and behavior habits.

Neurotransmitters (our brain's chemical messengers) travel on these neural pathways to help regulate our heart rate, breathing, mood, and a variety of other functions. Some neurotransmitters give us feelings of pleasure and others cause the sensation of fear.

For alcoholics and addicts, our destructive habits are reinforced by deeply rooted and well established neural pathways. Because of conditioning, when presented with a familiar stimulus, the brain follows a familiar pattern. This behavior reinforces the neural pathways and the cycle continues.

As alcoholics and addicts, we must rewire neural pathways to establish healthy responses to stimuli.

Neuroplasticity allows us to REWIRE.

Become helps you form new daily habits which build new neural pathways and control the flow of neurotransmitters so you can overcome substance abuse.

The Become recovery program uses a modern tech stack of synchronous technologies and evidence-based techniques to engage the senses and stimulate neuroplasticity for lasting change.
